Children’s  Ministry

At Jasper Place Baptist Church, we believe children are a gift from God, because of this our staff and volunteers are Plan to Protect trained.

 

Sunday School: Ages 0 – grade 6

Every Sunday from the second Sunday in September to the last Sunday in June. 9:15 AM – 10:15 AM.

 

Jr Kids Church: Ages 0 – K 

This runs alongside our Sunday worship service, beginning at 10:30 AM. This time is filled with songs, stories and play, with a snack time as well. We are so excited to get to know you and your littles!

 

Kids Church: Ages grade 1 – grade 6

Children in this age group are dismissed after the music portion of our worship service where the kids get to learn about God, play games and have snacks. We look forward to meeting you and your children and growing in Christ together.

 

Our Facilities: 

We have a designated 0 – K room that has a loft, sand table, an outdoor locked grassy area and friendly and loving staff. All staff are trained to keep your little safe. Sometimes it can be a bit scary being in a new place, so please ease in how best works for you and your family.

Our grade 1 – 6’s move around the building depending on what program they are attending. All spaces are clean and safe to play in.

 

Children’s Events

At Jasper Place Baptist Church, we love to meet together and celebrate God! We hold some events just for children and families, and have 4 main events throughout the year.

Easter

During Easter we hold an annual Easter Egg hunt where the children discover the true meaning of Easter in eggs.

VBS

In Summer it is all hands on deck as we host VBS! It is always the second week of August. Some of our past adventures took us on safari, a digging adventure and most recently a place of colour and wonder! No matter the theme it is always an exciting and inviting time.

Fall Festival

This event is held in October, and is a wonderful afternoon of games, friends and fun!

Christmas

Christmas is the most wonderful time of year! Some years we make managers out of gingerbread, some are a Christmas pageant, and some are caroling with tasty treats. No matter what the activity is, it is a spectacular time together.
